Nuclear extracts from HepG2 cells were incubated with biotin-labelled wild type (WT +1,398 A; lane 1-8) or mutant (MT+1,398 Del (A); lane 9-15) double-stranded oligonucleotide probes, and with or without an excess of either unlabelled WT (lane 3, 4; 80- and 100-fold excess), MT (lane 5, 6; 80- and 100-fold), or a non-specific probe (lane 8, 15; 100-fold excess).
