Statement of Retraction

After a careful examination of the paper by A. S. Rao, N. Kremenevskaja, R. von Wasielewski, V. Jakubcakova, S. Kant, J. Resch, and G. Brabant titled "Wnt/ß-Catenin Signaling Mediates Antineoplastic Effects of Imatinib Mesylate (Gleevec) in Anaplastic Thyroid Cancer" [J Clin Endocrinol Metab 2006 Jan.; 91(1):159–168 (Epub 2005 Nov. 1)], the authors have realized that serious errors were made. Therefore, the authors have requested retraction of the article, along with an apology to the readers that the errors were not caught earlier.
