Erratum

In the article "Insulin resistance in type 2 diabetes: association with truncal obesity, impaired fitness, and atypical malonyl coenzyme A regulation" by Peter N. Båvenholm, Jeanette Kuhl, Jan Pigon, Asish K. Saha, Neil B. Ruderman, and Suad Efendic (The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism 88:82–87), an error appears in Fig. 1. The y-axis is not shown and should read "Fatty acid oxidation (mg/kg/min)." The legend reads "Relationships between the concentration of malonyl CoA and citrate plus malate levels in skeletal muscle and the rate of whole-body fatty acid oxidation during a two-step euglycemic-hyperinsulinemic clamp in patients and controls" and should be changed to "Relationships between the concentration of malonyl CoA in skeletal muscle and the rate of whole-body fatty acid oxidation during a two-step euglycemic-hyperinsulinemic clamp in patients and controls." The authors regret the errors.
