Erratum

In the article "Weight reduction increases plasma levels of an adipose-derived anti-inflammatory protein, adiponectin" by Wei-Shiung Yang, Wei-Jei Lee, Tohru Funahashi, Sachiyo Tanaka, Yuji Matsuzawa, Chia-Ling Chao, Chi-Ling Chen, Tong-Yuan Tai, and Lee-Ming Chuang (The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism 86:3815–3819), errors appear in Table 1 and in the text. In the table, the data for WHR [0.34 (mean) and 0.02 (SD) before surgery; 0.32 (mean) and 0.02 (SD) after surgery; and 0.0002 for P value] should read 0.95 (mean) and 0.08 (SD) before surgery; 0.89 (mean) and 0.06 (SD) after surgery; and 0.003 for P value. In Results (page 3817, left column, line 5), the data for reduction in waist to hip ratio should be 0.06 (±0.08), instead of 0.02 (±0.02). The authors regret the errors.
