In the article "Gender-specific responses of lean body composition and non-gender-specific cardiac function improvement after GH replacement in GH-deficient adults" by S. Ezzat, S. Fear, R. C. Gaillard, C. Gayle, H. Landy, S. Marcovitz, T. Mattioni, S. Nussey, A. Rees, and E. Svanberg (The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism 87:2725–2733), errors appear in Fig. 1 and Table 2 (page 2728). In the top panels of Fig. 1, which show data for IGF-I and IGF-II, the bottom line of the x-axes for both panels should read "Females" and "Males," as is shown in the bottom panels for IGFBP-1 and IGFBP-3, instead of "Placebo" and "rhGH." In the table, data in the row for LV end-systolic volume (ml) were incomplete: -4.29 ± 10.53 (n = 44) (GH, baseline), 39.04 ±16.0 (n = 48) (GH, change, 0–6 months), -1.14 ± 11.84 (n = 51) (placebo, baseline). No data were printed for placebo, change, 0–6 months. The correct data are: 35.83 ± 17.61 (n = 52) (GH, baseline), -4.29 ± 10.53 (n = 44) (GH, change, 0–6 months), 39.04 ± 16.0 (n = 48) (placebo, baseline), and -1.14 ± 11.84 (n = 51) (placebo, change, 0–6 months). The authors regret the errors.
