This report documents the presence of normal cyclical patterns of serum FSH, LH, estradiol, progesterone, and 17
-hydroxyprogesterone in a patient with congenital absence of the uterus. The lifelong absence of a functioning uterus appears to have had no effect on the functional lifespan of the corpus luteum or on any of several other features of this patient's gonadotropic and ovarian function.
Received July 26, 1972.
