"Cure" of Ectopic ACTH Syndrome Secondary to Adenocarcinoma of the Lung

The clinical, chemical, histochemical and ultrastructural findings in a patient with ectopic ACTH syndrome, diagnosed preoperatively and secondary to adenocarcinoma of the lung, are presented. Complete reversal of the syndrome and apparent cure of the primary disease followed surgical excision.
